Rubber Stop Sealant is a one-part, neutral silicone sealant that will not stain exterior substrates. It exhibits good adhesion without primer on most building materials and displays outstanding weather resistance and durability.

- Joints in sanitary fittings (between floor, wall, shower, or wash basins)
- Areas exposed to high humidity, where protection from water and mildew damage is essential

SURFACE PREPARATION

A smooth surface must be sanded to achieve good adhesion. The surface must be free from rust and other contaminants. Remove weak portions of the substrate. Let the surface dry off. Remove oil and grease.

For application using cartridges, cut the thread open, fix the nozzle on top, and cut to the required bead size. The sealant can be applied in beads or in layers. The curing time can take longer at lower temperatures, low humidity, or air exchange volume as it requires moisture in the air to cure.


APPLICATION

Apply RubberStop with a barrel gun into the prepared joint and tool immediately to achieve a leveled surface.
