SIKA®-1 WATERPROOFING ADMIXTURE is a normal setting liquid waterproofing admixture for mortar and concrete. Sika®-1 is used for waterproofing of mortars and concrete, in particular for:

     

    Colour: Yellowish Liquid

    Packaging: 210lt drum

     

    Uses / Area of Application

    - Renders, masonry and screeds

    - Reinforced and unreinforced concrete

    - Brick, concrete and stone substrates

    - Indoor and outdoor applications, such as basement, swimming pools, tunnels, water tanks, manholes and culverts

    Instructions

    Recommended Usage:

    Add one part of Sika®-1 to 10 parts of water, which is equivalent to approximately 3 % of cement content. When using very wet sand, the ratio must be increased to 1:8 or in extreme cases 1:6.

    Note: Trial mixes should always be conducted to establish the exact dosage rates and water requirements per mix.
